THE FRANKFURTER traf ihn zum Lunch bei Alfio’s am Opernplatz, ganz nah bei dem Ort, wo einst die Geschichte der Eintracht ihren Lauf nahm. A keeper of the Grail, an encyclopedia and a fan, Matthias Thoma heads the Eintracht Frankfurt Museum and archives the highs and lows of the soccer club‘s history. THE FRANKFURTER met up with him for lunch at Alfio‘s on Opernplatz square, very close to the place where Eintracht‘s history once took its course.
