erry Peden is a native Baltimore resident who relocated to Houston, TX in 1987 after spending several years in the US Army. He had the benefit of being surrounded by hardworking people who instilled a strong work ethic and a desire to become an entrepreneur. As a University of Houston graduate with a BS in Electronic Technology Engineering, Terry professes that college gave him an opportunity to work for several global companies which allowed him to travel over most of the USA and other parts of the world.

In 2010, Terry decided to try his hand at entrepreneurship and opened T & T Liquors. After a successful year of business at his Northwest Houston location Terry decided to branch out into the urban Third Ward community to open another location. Since the inception of T & T, Terry has been in business for 2 ½ years and is looking forward to longevity with his steadfast customers. “I live by the fact that the customer is always right. I do believe that when you engage people properly they will respond to you in that same manor and that’s why my customers always come back. My customers always say that they love T & T because of the appearance of the store and the
attitude of the people that work in the store,” says Terry. He attributes his success to the love of his family; his wife of 28 years, Tammy and their two kids, Terry Jr. and Tameron. His family faithfully attends Sugar Land Church of Christ and he is very active in giving back to his community through youth mentorship.
