evoluzione del territorio è stata sempre una prerogativa della Cantina I Vini di Maremma. Nasce nel 1954 per iniziativa dell’Ente Maremma in una zona dove la coltivazione era basata sui cereali, la vigna era solo destinata alla produzione di vino per la famiglia ma menti lungimiranti avevano già intuito l’importanza del settore vitivinicolo. Da quell’inizio, tanti investimenti sono stati fatti, mantenendo sempre chiaro l’obiettivo di valorizzare la terra attraverso la cooperazione. Molto di tecnologico è cambiato anche al livello di cantina e Massimo Tuccio, presidente della Cooperativa, ne è stato il motore di propulsione. Spiega infatti: “Oggi abbiamo finalmente unito la grande attenzione ai vigneti, seguiti con grande professionalità, a strumentazioni di ultima generazione per la vinificazione e l’affinamento rimanendo sempre legati al rispetto etico del lavoro. Ricordo a tal proposito gli investimenti fatti nel settore delle energie alternative che con i pannelli solari appena installati mettono la cantina in luce di ecologia applicata. Il nostro obiettivo è di far arrivare lontano il nome Maremma per qualità, servizi, rispetto dell’ambiente”.
The progression of the land has always been a prerogative of the Cantina I Vini di Maremma. It was founded in 1954 by the Ente Maremma in a territory where cultivation was cereal-based. The vineyard was only meant to produce wine for the family, but far-sighted minds had already foreseen the importance of the wine industry. Many improvements have been made since the beginning, but the aim of enhancing the value of the land through cooperation has always been clear. Many technological changes have also taken place in the winery and Massimo Tuccio, president of the Cooperative, has been the driving force behind them. He explains: “We have matched great dedication to the vineyards, which are looked after with great expertise, with the latest generation of winemaking and ageing equipment, always keeping in mind the ethical work methods. In this regard, I would like to mention the investments made in the alternative energy sector, which, with the solar panels that have just been installed, light up the winery with applied ecology. Our goal is to take the Maremma name a step further for quality, service and respect for the environment.”
