My role as a city council member will be to promote citizen involvement and to listen to the people. Decisions are best made in Dupont when there is a strong collaborative effort by the city staff, councilmembers and citizens working together. I would like to expand community programs and opportunities for our youth in Dupont. My vision is to motivate youth to advocate and find their place in leadership. I will tend to the needs of families, both military and civilian, seniors and all citizens so that their quality of life and sense of belonging is ensured. I have the utmost respect for our public safety services in Dupont. I have first-hand experience with our fire department due to my role as a caregiver and aim to be an advocate for their needs. I will continue to support our police department’s community policing efforts so that we are an example to other cities. As your city councilmember, I will be a compassionate listener and make myself accessible to all. I would appreciate your vote.

Education: Graduate of Curtis High School, Degrees in Technology, Business Management and Marketing - Ft. Steilacoom Community College, University of Maryland, Sullivan University, Community Service: American Veterans Advocate, Gold-Star Family Advocate, Children’s Miracle Network Supporter, VA Stand-down service provider. Since his retirement he continues to serve. Frank supports veterans struggling with PTSD, addictions, and homelessness. Frank is an ordained minister. He currently serves on the DuPont Parks and Recreation Agency. Statement: Frank has a reputation for initiating and completing projects. His proven track record of accomplishments makes him the ideal candidate for City Council. As a child growing up in a military family, later as a serviceman, Frank found himself living in various countries throughout the world including Iran, Turkey, South Africa, Panama, and Europe engraining in him a deep respect for diversity. Upon settling at Fort Lewis in 1977, it was that experience of finally having a place to call home that Frank grained an appreciation for life in Pierce County. Serving on the DuPont Parks and Recreation Agency, Frank has established himself as a “can do” guy; a champion in making DuPont a wonderful place to live, work and play. He believes that to have true long-lasting impactful change, it needs to be systemic. He will work tirelessly, to gradually implement the institutional reforms needed to fix problem when efforts to change one aspect of a system, fail. Frank believes that this must be a community-driven process. As a veteran, entrepreneur and small business owner who has held countless leadership roles, there has never been a task too big to complete, nor a goal too grand to accomplish.
