Chris Moore info@voteformoore.org www.voteformoore.org

Elected Experience: I intend to use this role as my entrance into the political sphere. Other Professional Experience: President, Carbon River Builders; Senior Construction Project Manager, CBRE Healthcare; Journeymen Operating Engineer, IUOE Local 286. Education: Operating Engineer Program, Renton Technical College, 2010 Community Service: Past President & Past Education Chairman, Washington State Society for Healthcare Engineering Puget Sound; President, Cypress View Estates Homeowners Association; Vice President, Opportunity Center of Orting Inc. (The Haven Youth Center), Volunteer, Orting Senior Center Facility Expansion Project, Orting Police Explorer, Reserve Police Officer, Wilkeson Police Department. Statement: Before I was 10 years old, my father woke me up in the morning at 5:30 am to put my boots on and go to work with him every summer in the construction trades. To this day, I retain the strong work ethic and moral values instilled in me in my youth. I strongly believe where we come from is the cornerstone of who we are. I come from Orting, where my daughter plays in the same park here in town as I did, my Father did, and my Grandfather made that famous barbecue chicken with the Lions Club. I have seen Orting grow for over 40 years and I have embraced the town in the valley that became a city. I have planted my own roots here and have been a small business owner in Orting for going on 5 years. Today, Orting faces new challenges; homelessness, drugs, crime, overdevelopment, traffic, infrastructure, high taxes and the list goes on. We must focus our energy on long term solutions to real challenges that will leave the City of Orting a safer, more financially secure place we can all be proud to raise a family and call home.
