As a Council Member, I have been a team player, a good listener, and responsive to residents’ concerns. I am ready to do the hard work it takes to preserve historic downtown, make our neighborhoods safe and walkable and keep our unique small-town character, while accommodating mandated growth. Partnerships with other government agencies and local organizations are critical for success. I will nurture those partnerships and do my best to keep services affordable. Vote Kathy Hayden for Mayor, so I can continue working for you!

Steilacoom faces many challenges including changing demographics, a small commercial tax base, affordable housing for seniors and young families, and an aging town workforce. Roger has worked closely with Mayors, Councilmembers and city staff across the state to solve difficult problems. He will use his experience to ensure a positive future for Steilacoom. The sense of community, and citizen volunteerism, are what makes Steilacoom a great town to live, raise families, or retire. Roger demonstrates his commitment to Steilacoom by volunteering for a variety of community organizations. Through challenging and good times, let’s work together for a strong, vibrant Steilacoom.
