OMA EMIRATES MONTHLY MEDAL IN ASSOCIATION WITH CHRISTIES INTERNATIONAL REAL ESTATE Emirates Golf Club hosted the March OMA Emirates Monthly Medal in association with Christies International Real Estate with 99 golfers competing on the Majlis Course.
In Division A (0-10), the winner was Anil Shivanna with a net 67. Anil played an incredible round of golf which consisted of two gross birdies which led to a two under par back nine.

unner up in Division A was Ken Newell with a net 70. Ken had a very strong finish to his round which included two net birdies on holes 15 and 16 and a gross birdie on 18. Third was Dalip Tripathi with a net 71. Dalip had a very strong back nine compromising of three net birdies.
The overall winner of the Medal (Division B 11-20) was Sung Chang Jung who shot a net 66. Sung Chang played very consistent throughout his round which included eight net birdies. Runner up was Sekhar Reddy with a net 70. The highlight of Sekhar’s round came on the front nine, where he made back-to-back net birdies. In third place was Edmundo Lujan with a net 71 (BB9). through the middle of his back nine where he made a gross birdie on 13 which was then followed up with three net birdies in his last five holes. In the C Division (21-28), Balvinder Sindhu was victorious with a net 73. The highlight of Balvinder’s round came on the front nine where he made two net birdies on holes 2 and 3. The best gross score of the day was from Craig Tredenick with a gross 78 which included a one under par back nine. As well as the Medal Competition, players were also entered into a stableford competition with Dean Bell winning with a score of 37 points. The overall winner of the Ladies Stableford Competition was Josie Tracey with 38 points, Josie had one net eagle and two net birdies on her back nine. In the Silver Division, Jayshree Gupta won with 35 points, this was aided by a strong finish to her back nine where she made a gross birdie on 16. In the Bronze Division, Marta Wong won with 37 points, the highlight of Marta’s round came at the start of the back nine where she made back-to-back net birdies.
