AMARJEET RADIA’S LADY CAPTAIN’S DAY Emirates Golf Club hosted Amarjeet Radia’s Lady Captain’s Day which saw 63 Ladies compete on the Majlis Course in Pairs Texas Scramble.

he overall winners were Maria Victoria Arias and Monica Palao with an immense 63 -9. An amazing score which consisted of 6 gross birdies, 5 of them being on the back 9. Maria and Monica also picked up 3 2’s during the impressive round. Runners up with a close 64 -8 was Anca Pirvu and Anca Mateiu. Another exceptional round which required a scorecard inspection to settle the places. 3 gross birdies and 2 net birdies helped Mother and Daughter secure a Better Back 9 for 2nd. In third place with another 64 -8 was Arathi Appaiah and Ingrid Lind. Mot noticeable for Arathi and Ingrid was two Net Eagles on hole 5 and 10. In fourth place was Jayshree Gupta and Ira Gupta with a 66 -6. 2 Gross Birdies and a Par on 16, 17 and 18 helped Jayshree and Ira secure 4th place after a Better Back 3 on a card play-off. In fifth place with a Better back 9 was Najla Bartette and Maura Duggan with 66 -6. It was strong Back 9 for Najla and Maura starting with a Net Eagle on Hole 10 and a Birdie 2 on hole 15.
