aturday 16th April, Emirates Golf Club hosted a Lincoln Dubai Golf Pro-Am Series Event which saw 28 professionals and 72 amateurs compete on the Faldo course in a 2 from 4 format, with an additional individual gross tournament for professionals.
The overall winners were Steve Munro, Anca Mirela Mateiu, Anca-Luciana Pirvu and DorinMirel Mateiu with 88 points. It was a game of two halves for the team of Steve Munro. A slow and steady start on Front 9 with 41 points, yet on the Back 9 the team found superb form scoring 47 points.

In runners up position was Louis Gaughan, Darragh Duggan, Frank Duggan and Maura Duggan with 85 points. It required a scorecard inspection to determine the runners up position and an incredible Back 9 containing 50 points was well enough for the team of Louis Gaughan to be victorious. In third place was David Gray, Pranav Rai, Dhiraj Rai and Vivek Kapur with 85 points. Just missing out on 2nd place, it was still a fantastic effort by the team featuring 17 net birdies and 2 net eagles. The winner of the professional division was Jackson Bell with a gross 70 (-2 par). It was a very tidy round by Jackson, most noticeable was the Back 9 were Jackson made 3 birdies and 6 pars. Runner up in the professional division was Michael Bolt with a gross 71 (-1 par). Another strong round of Golf in the professional division. Most noticeable for Michael was the back-to-back birdies he made on hole’s 12 and 13. It was a three-way tie for third place in the professional division consisting of Matthew Rice, Dong Lee and Diarmaid Fraser all scoring 72 gross (level par) and making a four two’s between them. Nearest to the Pin on Hole 7 for male and female amateurs was won by Anca Mirela Mateiu. Longest drive on Hole 16 for male amateurs was won by Yash Gupta. Longest drive on Hole 10 for female amateurs was won by Sophia Zbiri.
