EASTER SCRAMBLE

Sunday 17th April, Emirates Golf Club hosted the annual Easter Scramble which saw 30 teams of four compete on the majlis course in a Four-player scramble format.
The overall winners were Varun Sood, Sachin Mahajan, Aayush Bakshi and Manish Bakshi with an impressive Net 54 (-18). The round consisted of 14 net birdies and 2 net eagles. Most noticeable were the two two’s made by the team on the front 9 par 3’s.

n runners up position was Lyndon Smith, Dorin Mateiu, Anca Pirvu and Anca Mateiu with a Net 55 (-17). It required a scorecard inspection to decide the runners up position and a -9 Net Back 9 helped the team of Lyndon Smith secure the card playoff.
In third place was Adel Hamdan, Alex Rodriguez, Nicsha Rodriguez and Sulafa Hamdan with a Net 55 (-17). Just narrowly missing out on 2nd place, it was still a brilliant effort by the team. Most noticeable were the 3 net eagles the team managed to make on Holes 6, 8 and 16. Nearest to the Pin on Hole 4 for Ladies was won by Naima Maya. Nearest to the Pin on Hole 11 for Ladies was won by Martha Wong. Nearest to the Pin on Hole 7 for Gents was won by Tom Pashley. Nearest to the Pin on Hole 15 for Gents was won by Mike Kaye. Nearest to the Pin in 3 on Hole 17 for all players was won by Yash Gupta. Straightest drive on Hole 8 for all players was won by Maya Srivastava. Congratulations to all prize winners.
