would like to thank all of our members who attended the inaugural Golf Members’ Party at the end of March. It certainly was a very special night and we have been delighted to receive a great deal of wonderful feedback from those in attendance. For those of you who did not manage to attend, I’m sure you have heard from your fellow members what a great event it was and
will be sure to reserve your calendar early for next year’s party. A special congratulations to Jonathan Wheeler who won the Viya Target Golf activation after making an incredible hole-in-one from the clubhouse terrace to the Earth 18th to collect the prize of 10,000 Viya points!
PORTUGAL TRIP We have received a wonderful response from the membership for the upcoming golf holiday to Portugal. Myself and our golf pro from the Peter Cowen Academy, Jackson Bell, will accompany a group of 24 lovely members on this inaugural trip which moving forward will become one of the key events in the Club’s annual calendar. We will be staying at the stunning Ritz Carlton Penha Longa Resort on the outskirts of Lisbon and enjoying some of the finest courses Portugal has to offer; Oitavos Dunes, West Cliffs and the Championship course at Penha Longa. In addition to our main annual golf trip, we will be hosting some other shorter golf vacations closer to home. The first of these will be to Almouj Golf Club in Muscat, Oman later in the year with the details being announced soon. Golf in Muscat is a true pleasure and I highly recommend you join us for this one.
