LADIES TRIPLICATE COMPETITION

Emirates Golf Club hosted the Ladies Triplicate Competition which saw 40 ladies compete in teams of 4 on the Faldo Course.
The winning team consisted of Najla Bartette, Cheh Ngim Ratcliffe, Sonal Gandhi and Olivia Jackson. It was a tie at the top of the leaderboard with two teams posting an excellent 73 points which required a card inspection to separate the two. A superb back 9 was the difference and all 4 ladies contributed to the team’s success. Most noticeable is the 9 birdies across the teams back 9. 3 of them coming on hole 10 and 3 on hole 17. WINNERS:

he runners up just losing out due to a better back 73 consisted of Maureen Platt, Haide Wright, Marie Benson and Steva Fornazaric. It was a very good effort by the team who had two consistent 9s. On holes with index 13-18, 3 players from each team where required to score. Most noticeable for the runners up they where -1 par on these holes which requires a strong team effort. Congratulations to all prize winners and thank you to everyone who participated!
