Chapter 4/F-Napoleon
This brings us to the next chapter of France’s dealings with the influence of the Illuminati: Napoleon Bonaparte. Vicomte de Barras, a member of the Illuminati and also a member of the newly formed French National Assembly, took a shining to 24 year old Napoleon Bonaparte, who was leading French forces against the English and Spanish at Toulon in 1793. Barras was appointed as Commander-inChief of the French military by the Illuminati-controlled National Assembly and wielded great power in the government. He was able to parlay this position into a spot as a member of the five-man Directorate which then began to govern France, and was viewed by the people as the most powerful political figure in France at the time. This Illuminist decided that Napoleon would be a great candidate and workhorse for the Illuminati, and chose Napoleon to lead France’s military forces. Unfortunately for them, Napoleon was a rogue with a mind of his own. Much to the chagrin of the Illuminati, Napoleon used his charisma and influence of “his” military forces to overthrow the Directorate and became the Emperor of France. Napoleon then went on a war-spree across Europe---the Napoleonic Wars--- bringing about total disruption to the Illuminati’s plans. He also put the final dagger into the heart of the waning Unholy Roman Empire, installing his brother Joseph as the King of Naples in 1806. After conquering Spain in 1808, he moved his brother Joseph from Italy to Spain, and replaced him in Italy with his brother-inlaw Murat. Napoleon’s brother Louis was made King of Holland, and another of his brothers named Jerome was crowned as King of Westphalia (Germany). Napoleon was doing exactly what the Illuminati had set out to do---conquer Europe; the only problem was that he wasn’t on their side anymore. "When a government is dependent upon bankers for money, they and not the leaders of the government control the situation, since the hand that gives is above the hand that takes. Money has no motherland; financiers are without patriotism and without decency; their sole object is gain." - Napoleon Bonaparte
When France invaded Russia in 1812, however, this went badly for Napoleon and signaled the coming end of his reign of conquest, at least for the time being. From 1812 to 1814, Napoleon fought the War of the Sixth Coalition. The Sixth Coalition, consisting of Austria, Prussia, Russia, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and a number of German States, defeating Napoleon, drove him out of Germany, and invaded France. The Coalition defeated France and exiled Napoleon to the island of 106
