Ingredients
Steamed Shrimp, Red Peppers & Green BEans
1 lb. Shrimp ¼ tsp. ground ginger ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper 1 clove garlic, minced 1 Tbsp. sesame seeds ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
½ lb. green beans 1 red bell pepper cut into strips 3 Tbsp. teriyaki sauce ⅛ cup cornstarch 1 cup chicken broth ¼ tsp. salt 3 green onions, sliced
Directions 1. Combine shrimp, ginger, cayenne pepper, garlic, sesame seeds, and pepper in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes. 2. In a small bowl, combine cornstarch, chicken broth, teriyaki sauce, and salt. 3. Fill water tray to minimum fill line. Place SmartSteamer base over water tray. 4. Place Shrimp in SmartSteamer base. Place green beans and red pepper strips in Colander Tray. 5. Microwave on High for 8 minutes or until shrimp are no longer pink. Let stand 15 minutes. 6. In a Chef Series II Saucepan add teriyaki sauce, chicken broth and salt, stir until thickened, add green onions. 7. Place shrimp in a serving dish, top with vegetables, then pour sauce over the vegetables. 96
