When They See What You Cannot
“We have no control of each other…”
There is a shade of color that is never been visible to my eyes. As I walked out of our house and closed the front door, a bunch of buzzing words is always just around the corner of the streets and so ready to bamboozle my curious neurons. Every wave of a sound gives a tingling sensation to my little ears but how much more to the other ones who are absolutely waiting for it. Those strangers have this kind of windows in their face which can visualize more than what you know is true. I know and at the same time I am aware that every one of us has the right to speak, the right to say anything that they want to. Freedom of expression is their term for it. But suddenly I thought that why does it need to come to a time that they will be exceeding boundaries— a moment that passes outside the limits of what is right or wrong. I continued walking along the short aisles with my head kept looking straightforward. I heard whispers and it made me think of the reason why do they act in such a manner. Was there any dirt in my face or a stain in my shirt? I kept questioning myself without bothering to ask them about it. Gossip and the critical judgment of some individuals are definitely displeasing to our hearing and may only lead to hatred, misunderstanding, anger and even war. We have no control of each other so there is no easy way of stopping them. They will continuously chatter with their itchy lips and follow their dark persona. We have our own built-in windows, the eyes, to see the beauty and reality around us. We also have our ears to know about good news and important information. Like these humanistic features, our rights do exist to cater ourselves and the community where we belong an ideal life but never use them to be a pain in the ass. My destination was near and I was about to cross the pedestrian. I did not notice the red light and after a few moments, murmurings were flying in the air. P4 LETA
